The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will observe 'Youm-e-Takbir' with full zeal in the country on May 28 (Friday). This was stated by Sardar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa, provincial head of the party, in a press conference here on Sunday.
Criticising the arrest of party workers during arrival of Shahbaz Sharif in the country, he stated that our workers who were in jails were subjected to worst treatment by authorities.
He warned that unless punitive measures were abandoned and workers as well as leaders of their party including Javed Hashmi were released, PML-N would agitate strongly during the forthcoming session of the National Assembly, he warned.
Khosa, speaking on the issue of appointment of MMA leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman as leader of the opposition, stated that Makhdoom Amin Fahim was the right man for the slot. He said the united Muslim League was in fact a rebirth of the Republican Party.
